Interior Design Baltimore, MD - Harbor East
Posted by Charlene Fountain on
Our clients recently downsized from their beautiful suburban North Baltimore County home to a Harbor East condo with fantastic waterfront views. Built early in the 2000’s, the condo interior had standard finishes and needed a “style lift” that reflects the owners’ sophisticated taste level. Contemporary fresh lines and geometrics fabrics and trims mingled with beautiful antiques were chosen to reflect the owners’ sophisticated taste level.
The dated kitchen was transformed with fresh, white Yorktowne cabinets and light Caesarstone countertops to visually expand the smallish footprint. We opened up the living room to the kitchen/breakfast room for better flow – and with that gorgeous kitchen, why not show it off!
Those incredible Harbor views were enhanced in both the living room and breakfast room with custom roman shades in the breakfast room, and side panels in the living room. Fabrics and trims in a palette of cool grays and dark blues from Schumacher, Kravet, Samuel and Sons, and Holly Hunt have been utilized throughout in the design concept. Furniture was updated to reflect the sleek urban vibe.
