Wines of the World - A Tasting at the Station

The " Wines of the World" wine tasting Event was last evening. The "Tasting at the Station", sponsored by Maryvale was throughout Greenspring Station and Gatehouse Shops. CF Interiors and the other merchants at Green Spring Station participated hosting the event. "Wines of the WorId" was especially important to me as the owner of CF Interiors. Hosting a Rutherford Ranch winery tasting table at our Design Studio was an honor. The Wine Merchant provided us with a wonderful variety of wines to sample. Located on an expansive property in Sparks, Maryland, our client’s traditional country home needed some fresh updates to reflect her current taste. Furnished with beautiful antiques, the home was built over 50 years ago and decorated in a traditional style. Using existing furnishings, we recently worked with her to update with fabrics, wallpapers, and accessories.The dining room has been updated with a lighter grass cloth wallpaper, geometric patterned roman shades and newly reupholstered dining room chairs and antique settee. Our clients recently downsized from their beautiful suburban North Baltimore County home to a Harbor East condo with fantastic waterfront views. Built early in the 2000’s, the condo interior had standard finishes and needed a “style lift” that reflects the owners’ sophisticated taste level. Contemporary fresh lines and geometrics fabrics and trims mingled with beautiful antiques were chosen to reflect the owners’ sophisticated taste level.The dated kitchen was transformed with fresh, white Yorktowne cabinets and light Caesarstone countertops to visually expand the smallish footprint.
